Dr. Damascus is extremely happy to be joining the Ridgefield community.  Originally from Pound Ridge, New York, Dr. Damascus graduated from Cornell University in 2003 with a degree in Psychology. She then earned her doctorate in dental surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors and completed a minor in Pediatric Dentistry.   Dedicated to working with children, Dr. Damascus then completed two additional years of training in Pediatric Dentistry at the renown Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.  After earning her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Damascus went on to become board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.   She served as a Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Dentistry at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center from 2011 until 2014 and currently is teaching Pediatric Dentistry at Danbury Hospital.   Dr. Damascus is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the College of Diplomates.  Since 2011 she has worked in private practice in Chappaqua, NY.   Dr. Damascus' primary goal is to provide patients with excellent comprehensive dental care and an overall positive experience for patients and their families.  With a focus on prevention, she works together with families to promote exceptional oral hygiene, diet and health.   Dr. Damascus was recently named one of the top Pediatric Dentists in Connecticut for 2016 and 2015 by her peers in Connecticut Magazine.  She lives in New Canaan, CT with her family and enjoys swimming, reading and baking.
