ABOUT DR. DAMASCUS

Dr. Damascus is extremely happy to be part of the Ridgefield community.  Originally from Pound Ridge, New York, Dr. Damascus graduated from Cornell University in 2003 with a degree in Psychology. She then earned her doctorate in dental surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors and completed a minor in Pediatric Dentistry.   Dedicated to working with children, Dr. Damascus then completed two additional years of training in Pediatric Dentistry at the renown Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.  After earning her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Damascus went on to become board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.   She served as a Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Dentistry at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center from 2011 until 2014 and and at Danbury Hospital until 2019.   Dr. Damascus is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry. Her primary goal is to provide patients with excellent comprehensive dental care and an overall positive experience for patients and their families.  With a focus on prevention, she works together with families to promote exceptional oral hygiene, diet and health.   Dr. Damascus was named one of the top Pediatric Dentists in Connecticut for 2023, 2019, 2016 and 2015 by her peers in Connecticut Magazine.  She lives in New Canaan, CT and enjoys spending time with her family when not at work.
